Just in case you missed the first series I shot with London based fashion enthusiast and blogger metrogypsie, worry not as i bring to you some very hot spots in London town that are a must see with the richest ambiance, yummiest menus and all-around best locations for tourists.
Although it was a rainy day, we still had so much fun and made sure to visit as many places as we could, just to make you guys happy, so here it goes.
First stop was Church Hill Arms which is a public-house at 119 Kensington Church Street on the corner with Campden street, Notting Hill, London. There has been a pub on the site since at least the late nineteenth century. The Churchill Arms received its current name after the Second World War. It is known for its exuberant floral displays, and extravagant Christmas displays in the winter and has been described as London’s most colorful pub.
Second stop was the gorgeous cafe DRUNCH an all-day dining Restaurant and Lounge minutes from Bond Street Station, serving Brunch as well as a range of Signature Juices and Homemade teas. The floral decoration is one that’s so gorgeous and will have you spending the whole day snapping awmayreemetroay. This place is highly recommended for all creatives and non creatives alike, it has such a cool, calm and cozy ambience.
The third spot is Dalloway Terrace, a perfect spot for your autumn day fix. Decorated with leaves draped across the restaurant, housed with a generous supply of tea, and organized with a cozy arrangement of seating, it offered an intimate place to catch up with friends over lunch on a wet autumn day. it is located great Russell street, same building with Bloomsbury, closest station will be Tottenham court road.
The fourth spot was a private, members only club called Annabele’s. We were not allowed to go in as it is a member only club but we hear it has earned a global reputation founded on superb service, exclusive ambiance, first-class cuisine, and unparalleled entertainment. The cars we saw outside gave us an idea of the caliber of people there. talk about the very good life of the rich and very private. The club is located in Berkeley square, mayfair, London.
The last spot we visited which is a must see as a tourist or creative in London, is none other than the super gorgeous, beautiful, breathtaking Saint Aymes, located at Connaught Street, London, just a walking distance from marble arch train station. The cafe is so beautifully decorated with lots of floral installations from the entrance of the cafe all the way to the basement. it gives you the feeling like you were in wonderland and you were getting married. oh so dreamy!!
I hope you love these selected London hot spots. Make sure to visit and thank us later.

Heineken Lagos Fashion design 2018, has always been one fashion week I religiously look forward to. As I remain anxious to see what designers put out for spring summer 2019.
In all honesty, I had some kind of mixed feelings as regards not seeing some of my favorite designers, Titi belo, T.i Nathan, Bridget Awosika, O’milua to mention a few,but I was excited to know that we had some new designers lined up for Lagos fashion week this season, and I’m glad I was not disappointed at all.
Here are some designers that made a mark for me this season, in no particular order. These ones, possessed a style story I could relate to. They had pieces I would wear all year round, their fluidity and craftsmanship were impeccable, such fine clean lines, and the infusion of different elements just made it all stand out.
Fruche, Dna by Iconic Invanity and Dyzn has such amazing colors, in their collection, the styling made it look very wearable and fun. I loved the disco, sequins and 80’s vibe Dyzn featured and the coral bead as a dress as seen in fruche’s collection.
Ejiro Amos Tafiri, as always, puts on a show with a vibrant collection yet again. As an accessory and shoe junkie, this collection ticked all the right boxes for me. I particularly loved every head wrap, aso oke slides and strappy sandals.
Nkwo stood true to her brand with blue pieces made from adire, but what struck me were the Ghana must go head wraps, now I’m definitely going to be wearing one of those.
Mai Atafo always puts on a show and this season he didn’t disappoint us. The collection was themed urban jungle, and had a twist of Russian vibe to it with the hats some of the models had on. The collection surely had a safari theme but with a clean modern finish. There was something for everyone irrespective of gender, age, style and size. Now that’s how you win.
Emmy Kasbit and Orange culture had such a vibrant collection infused with colors and very versatile silhouettes that told stories synonymous to their respective brands. It was more like a presentation and a runway show all in one. The styling of each collection, colors, fabric choices and fluidity were all to die for.
Jzo is a Nigerian brand that has won my heart from the instance they came into the fashion industry. This season I was excited to see this collection as it had pieces that were beautifully draped. The way the pieces moved as each model walked the runway , felt like a fresh breath of air, the collection looked gender less and the choice of color and fabric just made it all a great collection for me, and very wearable for the Nigerian market and that for me such a great approach to fashion.
Tokyo James was definitely one of my best shows and favorite collection during Lagos fashion week. As each model came down that run way, I was just in awe, at the quality of the pieces, such an international approach to the execution. You could see how neatly sewn the pieces were, the bags were just the icing on the cake which perfectly complimented the leather and snake skin pieces.
What designers were your favorite during Heineken Lagos fashion week?

All photos were taken by Kola oshalusi for Insignia media except orange culture’s photos which was gotten from pulse.
The last two days of Heneiken Lagos Fashion week 2018, had me in all shades of excitement, not only was i excited to see some of my all-time favorite designers show off their spring summer 19 collections, but i got to wear new pieces from my favorite Nigerian fashion brands.
On day 3, I wore this gorgeous oversize blazer, lacy corset and neon pants by sally Bawa, paired it all up with a waist purse and studded sandals. Can you tell how comfortable i was and felt? like i would wear this outfit over and over again.
Day 4, which was the last day of fashion week, i wore this gorgeous two-piece suit by Isi atagamen fashion label. I remember when i went in for fittings and saw this piece, I knew this was the right outfit for fashion week, it held me in all the right places. lol
Hope you liked my fashion week outfits, which was your favorite?

Heneiken Lagos Fashion week 2018 has come to an end but the excitement of attending and witnessing another successful season filled with super amazing and incredible fashion, art and style will stay with me for a long long while.
Day 2 of fashion week had me wearing one of the hottest trends for spring summer 2019, snakeskin. This custom made two-piece made by my personal lagos based tailor sunrah Clothing , got heads turning and jaws dropping. I paired this look up with neon snakeskin shoes, black purse and layers of gold chains.
One of the highlights of my day and outfit was being photographed by the legendary Kelechi Amadi – Obi, it was such an honor to be captured by his lens once again.
Stay tuned for what I wore on day 3 and 4 of fashion week, as well as my favorite designers this season.
Everyone knows London for countless breathtaking, beautiful and iconic locations.
As a true tourist that I am, I had planned to visit London tower bridge and soak in all her glory and gorgeousness. so, on the beautiful Sunday afternoon, I embarked on this journey with my friend.
Just as a kid who gets so excited and jumpy on their first date to Disney land, that was how I was so ecstatic to behold the bridge in its real form. she stands so high up, gorgeous and surreal. All the photos I had seen of her were nothing compared to what my eyes beheld this day.
I had always daydreamed about taking photos on this bridge, and today, my dreams became reality.
If you are ever in London, make sure you visit this bridge, it overlooks the popular river Thames.
Have you visited London’s Tower bridge, how was your experience? I would love to read about your experience.
I got invited by fashion scout uk to come see the 2018 graduate students show case and get first hand feel on what these creatives have been up to.
Let me just say it left me so breathless as I marvelled at the creation of these incredible designers who just graduated and haven’t been into the real designing world but their aesthetics and story behind their brands was definitely one to look forward to for seasons to come.
Maddy stringer
Maddy Stringer graduated from Edinburgh college of arts, and specialises in textile and material development ,exploring tactility and three dimensional surfaces for fashion. She showed at fashions fashion uk where u got the opportunity to style her collection and I’m so in awe of what she has created with persian rugs.
Leanne Callon
Leanne Callon, informal arrangement derives from a background focusing on the processes , development and construction techniques that make up a garment. As a knit wear designer she has mastered the art of creating pieces that are technical but exciting using knit wear and carpets.
This I found very interesting.
Leanne Callon and Maryanne
Alice Jardensten has perefctly created garments that tells a story of the best of both worlds ,using different fabrics to break the norm if how we to wear clothes and has successfully created more free ways of expressing oneself through mixing different structures and garment to create yet another garment that creates freedom for the wearer.
I fell in love with her garments and blown away as to how she mixed structures to recreate a master piece.
Rebecca Wilson creates garments that hopes to improve with age and I can say that she has successfully done that. As a lover of vintage fashion which is believe is time less fashion. Her collection was inspired by the Victorian working class garments with the aim to display the beauty that age creates and the story it starts to tell.
Shagun Chauhan is a graphic designer with a keen interest in illustration as clearly seen in these garments. It was love at first sight for me and I would gladly love every piece in my closet.
Everyone of this designers have out in so much time, funds and resources to create amazing garments that tell very relatable stories that in turn inspire us and best of all make us crave to have their garments in our closets.

Paul Costelloe creates a joyous collection in an area of rainbow colours and optimistic sihouettes, powerful enough to stop the traffic from Piccadilly in London to Madison avenue in a sunny , spring morning in New York.
From pure silk blends from Lyon and comp to rich, crisp linens from emblem Weaver’s of Ireland and intricate Italian jacquards in fresh, modern floral and graphic prints .
I particularly loved the styling of this collection , the white socks paired with white boots and the over size bags were to die for .
